1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Confero website and AI interview assistant application (the "Service"), provided by Confero, Inc. By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. License to use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Confero for your personal use. Each account is for a single individual; you may not share, resell, or sublicense your account.

3. Responsible use

Confero is a tool intended to support interview preparation and performance. You are responsible for how you use it. You agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and with the rules, policies, and agreements of any interview provider, employer, or platform you interact with.
• Not use the Service where its use is prohibited by an examination, certification, academic, or hiring policy you have agreed to.
• Use the Service honestly and ethically, and accept sole responsibility for the content of anything you choose to say or submit in an interview.

Confero is not liable for consequences arising from use that violates a third party's policies or applicable law.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Confero offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.

5. Refunds

Unused purchases are refundable within 7 days of purchase. To request a refund, contact support@confero.com. Refund eligibility for consumed sessions or credits is described at checkout.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Confero and protected by intellectual property laws. Content you upload remains yours; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you should independently verify anything important. We do not guarantee any particular interview outcome or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Confero will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Confero, Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
