Our mission

Interviews are one of the highest-stakes conversations in anyone's career, yet they reward memorization and nerves as much as real ability. We built Confero, a real-time AI interview assistant, to change that. Confero listens to your interviewer, reads coding questions from your screen, and gives you a clear, structured answer in about two seconds — so you can focus on communicating your thinking instead of freezing under pressure.

What Confero does

Confero is both an AI coding interview assistant and an AI video interview assistant. During a DSA round on LeetCode, HackerRank or CoderPad, it reads the prompt and returns an approach, clean pseudocode and complexity analysis. During a behavioral or video screen on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Webex, it transcribes the question and suggests a resume-aware response you can deliver in your own words. It runs as a native desktop app on macOS, Windows and Linux, and stays private to you.

Why we started

Confero began with a simple frustration: the best interview-prep tools all stopped working the moment the interview started. We wanted a live AI interview assistant that supported candidates in real time — fast enough to keep up with a conversation, accurate enough to trust, and private enough to feel comfortable using. And we wanted it to be genuinely accessible, which is why there's a free plan that anyone can use with no credit card.

What we believe

• Privacy is non-negotiable. We process audio on-device wherever possible and never store your interview transcripts.
