This Privacy Policy describes how Confero, Inc. ("Confero", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and the Confero AI interview assistant desktop application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication details. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by our third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card number.

Content you provide

You may upload a resume, notes, or other documents to personalize your answers. You control this content and can delete it at any time from your dashboard.

Interview session data

During a session the Service processes live audio and on-screen content to generate answers. Wherever technically possible this processing happens on-device. Interview transcripts are not retained after your session ends — they are discarded when the session closes.

Usage and device data

We collect limited technical information such as app version, operating system, crash logs, and anonymized feature usage to keep the product reliable.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To personalize answers based on content you choose to upload.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, payment processing, and AI model providers that generate answers), and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information if required by law.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and limit what we collect in the first place.

• Delete uploaded resumes and documents from your dashboard.
